Results at Hammersley Spring Pools on Sunday 07-05-2017.

As the top pool has not been fished this year we decided to fish it! Big mistake with low weights and dry nets. 1st. Nick Cooper 2-15-0 (Fishing a long pole at 16.5m on maggot caught roach and rudd on maggot near the lilies on the far bank off peg 7.) 2nd. Andy Reardon 0-12-0 (A few bits caught on maggot off peg 5.) 3rd. Roy Cooper 0-4-0 (With only 5 bites lost a carp in the pads and caught 2 small fish on maggot off peg 9.) Everyone else was dry. After the match to save the day I went stalking the BIG ONE and caught it on floating bread what a fish 19-15-0 Mirror my biggest ever on the pole.
