In the past many members will have purchased maggots and other baits from our former Vice Chairman/Match Secretary, Roy Cooper (RIP).
Angling shops are fairly thin on the ground these days, but as an alternative there is a fairly local venue from which fishing baits (only) can be obtained, namely Pets 2000 in Whitchurch.
They sell a range of maggots (but not casters), worms, pellets in different sizes, hemp seed and groundbait.
