UPDATE:
Members are advised that our annual general meeting is scheduled for Wed 7th Feb, and will be at Hodnet Social Club with a [prompt] 8 pm start.
If you’d like to come along to hear a brief review of the past year, some of the committee’s plans for the next or to debate/vote on any resolutions, please feel free to do so – and also try to arrive in time for the 8pm start.
As usual, your Committee will be putting forward some resolutions, to be formally decided at our committee meeting on 16th January, and these have now been agreed and the key ones are summarised below.
Proposed Angling Rules – Key Changes.
No use of keep nets at Preeswood Pool, except in Matches; Matches are to be formally defined (as 3 or more anglers formally fishing competitively for gain), with the only ones allowed/recognised on our Club Waters being those organised by/sanctioned by The Committee; where an evening Match is scheduled, all fishing at that water must cease by 3pm beforehand.
At tha same time, a few other rules will be subject to minor modfication/clarification, as will be parts of our Constitution.
If the above interests/concerns you please do come along and take part in any debate/voting; or otherwise just come along to see and hear more about how the Club is being run.
If any member wishes to raise anything at the AGM, please contact Terry Nutt or Paul Edwards ASAP to discuss the matter, as ‘surprise’ proposals/resolutions cannot be accepted on the night.
